Early convertibles are cool, very cool… and this baby is no exception.
Coming from Wisconsin USA it need welding for sure. I was told once that even buffalos do rust over there….:) Floorplates, heater & reinforcement channels need replacement. Preview work in all usual corners. We tried to capture as clear as possible in all of our pictures.
The car is still straight and never patched up too much. For sure a big positive here! You see what it is and how it should be… all dimensions en references are still there.
This baby is far most complete, all special convertible parts are there, guess that’s important too…J
The chassis number learn us this cutie is built in August of the year 1957. Strictly a 1958 model this baby is right on produced right after they stopped the oval window end of July 1957.
The engine is built in May 1955, not matching but period correct for sure 30DIN Hp (that’s 36SAE to our American friends).
This is a real cool project that really needs to find a good new home and get that restoration it deserve, are you the man?
